| Introduction: We aim to ensure that all our guests have comfortable facilities, that all requests are dealt with efficiently and all guests are made to feel welcome throughout their stay. We are a 15 bedroom all en-suite lodging. Each room has colour T.V. and beverage making facilities. As an old building accessibility is limited and there are no ground floor bedrooms but, where possible, all assistance will be given. |
| Pre-Arrival: We are about a mile from Blackpool centre - a walk of approx. 20 mins. There is a bus stop close to our front entrance and there is a frequent bus service. There is also a tram stop close by with frequent trams to Cleveleys / Fleetwood / Pleasure Beach / the Tower. The main train station is 5 mins away by car. There are a number of local taxi services that have accessible taxis if required. We can supply contact numbers so that you may make a booking if required. Brochures and menus can be provided in large print if necessary. Our website - www.mounthotel.co.uk - provides pictures and public rooms and further information about the services we provide. Arrival & Car Parking Facilities: There is limited car parking facilities to the front of the lodging of six spaces. The local area allows unlimited free on street parking and a large car park is available one block away at a reasonable charge. Main Entrance & Reception: The reception is reached by 4 steps and a wide passageway, going through three doors. It is well lit, with maintained lighting at all times. There are a further16 steps to the nearest bedroom. The lodging does not have a lift. |
| Public Areas - General (Internal): Access to the bar, dining room and sun lounge is from the ground floor hallway. Comfortable seating is provided in the sun lounge where stunning sunsets can be watched. The dining room has individual tables for guests and a baby chair can be provided. Breakfast menu can be provided in large print. Management or staff are always available to answer you queries. WC: The nearest W. C. to the bar/dining area is located on the first floor landing. Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Lounges, Take Away & Cafe: The dining room/ bar is carpeted and spacious. Laundry: The lodging does not have laundry facilities. Shops: There is a selection on Dickson road, a few minutes walk away-spar, off licences, newsagents, restaurant, cafe fish and chip shop, etc. Treatment room/s: None available. Leisure Facilities: Not Available. Outdoor Facilities: A very pleasant walking area, the Rock Gardens, is just over the road. The beach is accessed down a long flight of steps. Conference & Meeting Rooms, Banqueting, Clubs, Entertainment: A small meeting room is available. |
| Bedrooms: The 15 bedrooms are well decorated, many with new carpets and beds. Bathroom, Shower-room & WC [En-suite or Shared]. All rooms are en-suite with shower or bath. An extra bathroom is available on the first floor. Self-Catering kitchen: Not available. |
