| The art holidays run from Monday afternoon to Friday morning with at least two hours full tuition each day. Prices include full English breakfast and three course evening dinner. All rooms are en-suite with colour T.V. and tea/coffee facilities. * Single rooms are available at no extra supplement. We hope you can join us on; 10th to 13th May: “exploring soft pastels” an exciting course using drawing and shading, building layers and the techniques of using pastels. You will be amazed at the effects which can be created £149 for 3 nights, 2 days. 12th to 16th July: Summer school - 4 nights, 3 days £199 the versatility of acrylics Explore the uses of acrylics in watercolour mode as washes. | Your Tutor Beryl Davenport is a highly experienced and qualified tutor. She teaches skills and techniques so that even an absolute beginner may begin painting in a very short time. If you are already painting you will learn more skills on these courses and Beryl’s approach and friendliness gives you more confidence in your work. On these courses acrylic paints are used but due to their versatility they can be used in a watercolour mode for wet-in-wet or wet-on-dry work. |
